For a classic African safari experience in the heart of the Kalahari, one needs to experience Haina Safari Lodge. This magnificent Lodge is perfectly situated in between the Kalahari National Park, Deception Valley and the village called Rakops, giving you direct access to a variety of interesting and exceptional activities.

Guests staying at Haina Safari Lodge sleep in luxurious tents, each with its own private deck. The options offered to guests include accommodation in one of 6 Luxury Tents, which are fully ensuite; there are also 4 Superior Luxury Tents with thatched roofs, slightly bigger sundecks and also complete ensuite bathrooms. Then for the honeymooners, there’s one Honeymoon Tent, entwined amongst the trees. All these tents are decorated in natural sandstone colours, keeping with the theme of Haina Safari Lodge.

To ensure visitors privacy, the Main Boma is set apart from the sleeping quarters. It is here that you’ll find a dining room, comfortable lounge and well-stocked bar. Outside, there is a gorgeous swimming pool, with numerous spots to sunbathe on the sundeck, and view some of the local bird life and a wide variety of animals.

Some of the activities that can be organised for guests include game drives in the three surrounding parks, and even walks around the Camp area. A truly heart-warming experience, recommended to all residents is experiencing the culture of the Bushmen. You will get the opportunity to meet them and listen to campfire stories about their nomadic lifestyles, and learn how they find roots below the earth to eat and make fires, using nothing but twigs. If you’re lucky, they’ll even perform an amazing rain dance for you.
