Situated in the East Caprivi region of Namibia, and located on the northern banks of the Chobe River, Chobe Savanna Lodge overlooks the immense floodplains of the Chobe National Park.

The stylish thatch and brick chalets accommodate 24 guests. All of the 12 twin-bedded suites have private decks and the bedroom / lounge area is elegantly furnished in rich and colorful earth tones, traditional to African living. Luxurious bathrooms, air-conditioning, and a fully stocked bar, will make every guest feel comfortable and special.
The main building accommodates a lounge, dining room, library and a bar area. From this vantage point, guests can view game and have breathtaking panoramic vistas and views of the Chobe River and beyond to the Chobe National Park. The same exceptional earth toned décor, and dark teak wood furnisher that is found in the suites, are carried through to the main area. There is a swimming pool, and gazebo, ideal for group lunches and an outside eating area (boma). Guests eating experience is enhanced by the stunning views, and traditional dancing performed by local people of the village.
Activities at Chobe Savanna Lodge are versatile, and guests can participate in guided walking tours, game viewing by day or night by motor boats, canoe excursions, and visit a traditional village nearby to experience tribal African life and culture in its true form. The area is home to buffalo, hippo, and large herds of elephant, and have predators, like wild dog and lions that favors the river edge. This protected water wilderness has an abundance of birdlife, and guests can quietly sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
