Impalila Island Lodge

Experience an island paradise with a difference! Experience Impalila Island Lodge, situated in the middle of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers. Amazingly, this island is the meeting point of four great African countries - Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia.

Impalila Island Lodge offers guests luxury accommodation at its best, with 8 private chalets on stilts. Guests can enjoy magnificent river views from the comfort of their private decks. For your comfort, the rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, mosquito nets and en-suite bathrooms. One also has the option of staying in a room with a king size bed or with two twin beds.

Impalila Island Lodge also has a main social complex for guest's entertainment. Here, you will find the lounge, bar and dining room, as well as a lovely little curio shop, reference library and swimming pool.

Some of the outdoor activities offered at Impalila Island Lodge include bird watching, game viewing and fishing. The Lodge has an assortment of boats, guides and vehicles on the ready to accommodate your every whim! There is also the option of enjoying a day out in the sun in one of the Mokoro canoes provided - guides will be able to accompany you to some of the little islands dotted around the Zambezi River.

One can also spend a day viewing game by motorboat within the Chobe National Park. Some of the animals you might spot are herds of elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo and if you're lucky - the puku and rare Chobe bushbuck.
