The beautiful Lesoma Valley lodge is located in the Kasane forestry reserve, which is the gateway to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. This ideal location offers its guests the best of both worlds in that it is a mere 20km’s away from the Kasane town centre yet one can still experience the rural, unspoiled features that epitomizes this gorgeous part of Africa. Guests are sure to enjoy the cultural tourism and get a realistic taste of African village life while staying at the Lesoma Valley Lodge.

Accommodation at the Lesoma Valley Lodge consists of:

6 luxury thatch-roofed cottages, with a choice of a family room which can accommodate 4 people, a rondavel which sleeps 2 or a semi-detached cottage which contains twin beds. All the beautifully decorated cottages are fully furnished and come equipped with air-conditioning, television, separate showers and toilets and boast absolutely breathtaking views. The family room and the rondavels also offer guests a coffee and tea making facility and the added comfort of a small lounge in the cottage. All meals are available on request and other amenities that are available to guests include a cool gazebo from where evening refreshments can be enjoyed and a braai area. Airport transfers as well as visas and permits can be arranged for guests if requested in advance.

Guests at the lodge are given hands-on opportunities to learn skills such as weaving, trapping, preparing the delicious local delicacies and brewing beer. They may even partake in dance and music lessons that focus on local traditions. It truly is the best way to experience this diverse and rich culture firsthand. Other activities that guests can enjoy include fishing trips at the Zambezi River, boat cruises and day or night game drives where an abundance of wildlife, including the big 5, are sure to be spotted.
