Guests staying at Ntwala Island Lodge will be put up in one of four blissfully beautiful suites. These spacious living quarters were made for satisfaction, each with its own private plunge pool, stunning sundeck with a shaded sala for ultra relaxation. The en-suite bathrooms are complete with a bay bath, ideal for long, relaxing bubbles soaks, as well as both indoor and outdoor showers.
For the colder months, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a fireplace in every suite, ensuring maximum comfort for all guests. Dinner is usually served in the central Ntwala Island Lodge building. An amazing feature of the dining room is that the kitchen is sunken, allowing patrons to view and interact with the private chef, before enjoying his mouthwatering fusion creations. Ntwala Island Lodge also boasts a walk-in wine cellar, allowing you to browse a bit before selecting your ultimate vino for the evening’s meal.
Some of the unique activities offered to visitors of Ntwala Island Lodge include game viewing along the river, through the Chobe National Park. Each of the four suites has the luxury of a private boat and guide to take them on delightful day trips. Some of the game that might be sighted includes crocodile, hippo and elephant, to name a few.
Guests can also enjoy a day out in one of the dug out canoes, or Mokoro, as they are known locally. One can also view a multitude of bird species, as well as experience the natural beauty of a Chobe sunset cruise, or try your hand at hooking a renowned Tigerfish.
