Phokoje Bed and Breakfast Reviews

Destination Botswana
Joe and Anne run a truly great establishment that offer peace and quiet form the Gaborone madhouse. It is clean with all amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. From a business perspective, it would really be the icing on the cake if the wireless Internet (or cable) could reach the cottage. Despite this, I will definitely stay there again on my next visit; it is that good.

Phokoje hospitality second to none
We just wanted to take this time to mention that we enjoyed our stay at this lodge. The lodge offers a great escape from the hustles of city and good scenery. Close to a large game reserve. To top it all of , there is great hospitality. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone.

My stay at Phokoje B&B
My stay @ Phokoje B&B was above my expectations, the staff and the managers made me feel at home, they are approachable and understanding. I was impressed by the breakfast arrangement cos you do not have to rush to the dining room, you eat at the comford of your room. I will definately stay there when ever I visit Botswana. Thank you.

An excellent stay.
We have now stayed at Phokoje twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Sadly, we were not able to stay longer. The accommodation and all fittings are of very good quality and the rooms and cottage are most comfortable and very well equipped. Peaceful suurounds complement the many birds in the area. Who could ask for more?

Worth staying for
My Partner and I stayed at Phokoje Bed and Breakfast a total of two nights during our time in Gaborone. We found the B&B to be ideally located just outside of town, in a typical bushveld setting. The quiet environment made it the ideal place to return to after a day of exploring the areas immediately surrounding Botswana's Capital. The rooms where immaculate and the service exceptional! The personal contact from the owners also made this the ideal overnight accomodation for anyone wanting to learn more about life in Botswana in general...
This is a B&B definitely worth staying for! And I will certainly recommend it to friends and family!

My staff was booked in at Phokoje B&B for work purposes. Anne was very helpful with their stay, accommodating meals, etc.
Thank you Anne for your hospitality but also going out of your way to make the guys' stay as comfortable as possible.
We will certainly be calling on you again when visiting Botswana!

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at Phokoje B&B on the Easter eve, and what a wonderful place it is! The rooms are beautifully arranged and maintained. The super was so delicious, and the continental breakfast too. The hospitality and friendly nature shown by Anne was the best i have ever experienced at a lodge to date. Anne, thank you!

Guests views
We thorouhgly enjoyed our stay with the Draytons at Phokoje B and B and were delighted with the qualiry of the rooms and furnishings etc. It was most kind of our hosts to spend the evening with us talking about their lives and Botswana in general ...we really appreciated that.
We would probably prefer breakfast out of the bedroom but our son was delighted with the idea as it meant more freedom and chance to please himself. I would definitiely recommend arriving before dark and to follow directions carefully.

Very nice stay
We enjoyed our stay very much
Anne is very helpful and friendly.
The dinner tasted fantastic and was delicious.
The cottage is a beautiful property, which also invite to relax for a longer time.
Unfortunately, we were only able to use the accommodation for one night.
Maybe be we have the chance, to come back, for a longer stay!

Anne, one of a kind
After a long drive through rains & soaking wet at a border gate sorting out entry to Botswana, we were greeted by Anne at a very cozy B&B away from all anthropogenic activities. The finishing & quality of material in the room by far exceeded our expectations. Our stay was short but very worthy, 'woke up to sounds of birds, walking outside I could smell fresh rain & Anne already back from bicycle ride made us wish to stay even longer so we can join next & learn even more about Botswana from her. I will certainly stay again & recommend to all nature loving travellers......

Wonderful
My recent stay at Phokoje B&B was short, but Anne was wonderful. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations and despite our late arrival, Anne made sure we had the dinner I had requested. The room were very comfortable, the food was plenty (and tasty), and the surroundings, beautiful. Anne went the extra mile to print out directions to the nearest border post.

Lovely place to stay
Anne and Jim ensured that my brief stay was fantastic. The room is beautifully appointed with everything the weary traveller could want. Their hospitality was great and the even meal (my request as I was leaving early the next day) was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B and look forward to visiting again.

Very peaceful
We really enjoyed our stay. Anne and Jim were wonderful and accommodated us at very short notice.
The cottage has everything one needs, but a stove/hot plate would make things even easier to self-cater.
We loved our time here and would love to stay here again.
