Hi there all
I stayed at Taylor's Cottages from Tuesday 20 April 2010 and left on the morning of Saturday 24 April 2010. It was a great experience.
I must just say that it isn't everybody's "thing". If you are expecting to go there and watch tv all day then stay away. If you want to be served hand and foot all day stay away.
This little place is situated on the Notwane river above the waterfall. It is peaceful, tranquil, quiet. If you are someone that loves bird watching, this is an absolute piece of heaven. You are woken up in the morning by the fish eagles and then they return in the late afternoon to come and wish a good night's sleep.
If you are a fisherman, especially fly fishing, you will love it. I don't know whether you would be able to wade but in all honesty that won't be necessary as the fish come right up to the bank. And there are schools of them. Carp, Yellows, barbel, etc.
So basiclly, if you need to get some peace and quiet, if you want to get away from the world's problems, if you want a romantic get away, this is definitely the place for you.
Linda and Patrick, thanks a million for everything. And although we didn't see eachother alot during my stay due to my work responsibilities, I will always recommend your establishment to anybody needing some rest and relaxation.
