Jack’s Camp is a remarkable site that will so capture your imagination; you’ll never want to leave. Named after the man that discovered this place, Jack’s Camp is not only a tribute this creator, but to savage Africa herself.

This luxurious East African Camp offers guests accommodation in ten spacious and stylish tents. These tents are unique in that they are fully ensuite, and even have specialized outdoor showers, allowing you to get in tune with nature and your beautiful surroundings in the desert. You’ll wake up to a view so breathtaking, you’ll just want to sit and stare; and you’re more than welcome to, from your private veranda.
While staying at Jack’s Camp, you’ll get the rare opportunity to see some of Africa’s indigenous plant, animal and birdlife up close and personal. There are plenty flamingo and other species of migratory birds around camp, this is especially so during the wetter seasons. You’ll also bump into vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, grazing in the watery grass.
Some of the other creatures you’ll be able to see are gemsbok, aardvark and even springbuck. You will also spot a few brown hyena as they wait around for scraps and you’ll also get the chance to befriend a few tame meerkats!
Another great activity guests get the chance to experience at Jack’s Camp, is roaming the desert on the four wheel drive quad bikes! The thrill of cruising in wide-open spaces, with nobody around is unbeatable. You can even take the bikes out to some of the secluded archaeological sites, and view a variety of fossil diggings.
