Kwa Nokeng Lodge Reviews

Kwa Nokeng Lodge
Vehicle permits pre-arranged by Kwa Nokeng was a big help at the border crossing. This is great service they render. Accomodation in both the luxury tents and safari tents found to be comfortable and adequate for our needs.

Kwa Nokeng Lodge
We stayed at Kwa nokeng on 2 occasions on a recent trip.
Remember that they organise you permits and we made use of the facility which was an absolute pleasure. The staff at Kwa Nokeng are excellant and a pleasure to deal with.
First occasion we stayed in the safari tents which were extremely comfortable. A few in our group however complained about the noise from the trucks at the border post and were quite happy to wait until 10pm when the border close but then roadworks started up so the noise continued. I however slept through it all.
On our return trip, we stayed at the luxury river front tents. Absolutely marvelous. Hot, hot showers and extremely comfortable accomodation. Fantastic value for money especially for a family and we will definetly return.

Kwa nokeng lodge
Food was great (bit expensive for what was offered, but over all good), we experienced great service, staff went the extra mile (for our kettle and early morning coffee)... BUT, the tent can definitely need attention. We stayed in the first tent - the entrance of the tent was torn and could not completely block out mosquitos from entering, the shower facilities were very dirty (so dirty that we decided not to use it), when the toilet was used, mosquitos were swerving just WAY TOO MUCH!!

accommodation
Our stay (camping) was very pleasant. The only (little) complaint we have is that the taps in the women's ablution were not working properly. We enjoyed the Buffet dinner very much.
Thank You Kwa Nokeng.

Nice place to stay over
We slept there for the night and was satisfied with what we found there. Unfortunately we only slept the night because we still have to travel to Maun the following day.

Exciting
It was great and it was the first day of our organised tour. It is therefore memorable and in particular meeting up with the hippo and having a lovely dinner on the deck.
Thank you

Lovely spot to stop on route to Botswana/South Africa
Kwa Nokeng was a lovely spot on the Limpopo River to stop over enroute from Botswana back to RSA. Only negative is price quoted on site states Rand but is acutally Pula which makes the Rand equivalent a bit higher! We stayed in River Cabins - nice and clean, hot water, great restaurant and bar area, child friendly.

Will recommend
We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Kwa Nokeng. Units are well equipped and clean. The 1 negative comment I have would be that we had a self catering unit, but without any grid at the braai. We were looking forward to having a braai that evening, but the lodge could not supply us with one. We had to cook our meat on the stove plate. Maybe look at supplying braai grids or renting them out.
