Guests staying at Mashatu Main Camp will experience the utmost in luxury, with accommodation consisting of 14 naturally decorated suites. These suites are spacious and comfortable, complete with two three-quarter and one day bed, as well as full air-conditioning. The ensuite bathrooms are a dream come true, with showers, baths, two toilets and basins for both him and her.
Mashatu Main Camp’s central building is has a delightful curio shop, for guests to pick and choose from a range of authentic African souvenirs. There is also a stunning dining area, relaxing lounge and creatively unique bar, known affectionately as “The Gin Trap”.
Dinners are served outside as well as in the dining room, so that guests can experience the true magnificence of the African night stars. There is also a refreshing crystal clear swimming pool, which is just next door to the outdoor boma.
Mashatu Main Camp can be set apart from all other accommodation, because of its one of a kind Discovery Room. This room is a unique scientific research base, where the history, anatomy and other factors of Mashatu’s animals are examined. This room is truly a sight to behold.
Mashatu Main Camp also boasts a professional boardroom-styled conference room, which can host up to 48 business delegates. The facility is fully equipped with TV monitors, overhead and slide projector, as well as screens, flip charts and whiteboards – everything a businessman could ever need.
Activities offered at Mashatu Main Camp include mountain biking; game-viewing drives and elephant back rides. Horseback safaris can also be organised, allowing guests to experience the wildlife from different vantage points! Other exciting activities in the area include cable-car trips across the mighty Limpopo River, as well as other adventure activities within Victoria Falls.
