Surrounded by rich foliage and cool water, Baines Camp offers guests luxury accommodation in one of five lavish suites, all on stilts. Each room contains a mobile four-poster bed, allowing guests to wheel them out onto their private wooden deck, and sleep under the stars, or gaze out over the magnificent Boro River and Lagoon.
Not only are guests surrounded by beauty, but can enjoy all the necessities of modern living at Baines Camp. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer, a safe, as well as a mini-bar and ceiling fan, to ensure your comfort.
Baines Camp offers visitors the experience of dining outside and splashing about in the large pool. An added feature is that there are two shaded “salas” alongside the pool, for cooler sunbathing. Some of the other activities offered at Baines Camp, include special canoe trips, using the poled Mokoro, or dugout canoe.
Here you can experience wildlife head-on, while floating along the lagoon silently. One can also enjoy safaris on foot or via 4x4 vehicles, accompanied by an armed guard, where you can experience all sorts of Africa’s flora and fauna.
