Gunn's Campis a secluded private camp site on a palm-studded Island in the Okavango Delta. The camp overlooks Chief's Island and the
Moremi Game Reserve. It is one of the last few remaining old style safari camps, set under leafy palms and African ebony and offers a beautiful rustic simplicity. Gunns Camp provides guests with the perfect start to their African adventure as they are transported to the location of the camp via a light aircraft, from where guests are treated to magnificent views of some of Africa's most celebrated wildlife and bird life.
Accommodation at Gunns Camp consists of: Seven deluxe tents and a honeymoon suite on the main camp grounds and 23 tents on the bush camp. The main camp tents come fully furnished with deluxe Kenya-style meru tents and en-suite bathrooms set on raised platforms. The romantic and luxurious honeymoon suite is built into one of the African ebony trees, a perfect viewpoint from which to see the meandering waterways below. Guests have access to a fully fitted elevated bar, a spacious lounge and dining room area, a campfire boma and a swimming pool.
The bush camp, located away from the main camp, provides guests with more privacy, as well as a wonderful sense of freedom amongst the wilderness. Guests have a choice of 2 different types of accommodation at the bush camp. They may opt to stay either in mini meru tents, where they have access to shared bathroom facilities or in 2-man dome tents set on the banks of the Boro River. Facilities available to guests at the bush camp include a large viewing deck built over the river, the renowned and exciting bush camp cave bar and a sparkling pool.
A wide variety of day-time as well as evening activities have been carefully co-coordinated for guests at the camp. The Mokoro excursions, which is a trip on a mokoro canoe is one of the most popular activities. This is a perfect way for guests to lie back and enjoy the breathtaking scenery that surrounds them. Guests may also partake in bush-walks, island camping and motor-boat sunset cruises.

Tips:
1.Guests traveling through areas where malaria may occur it is
recommended that they consult their GP for medication advice.
2. Generally, the delta camps (Mankwe and Gunn's Camp) accommodate children over the age of ten only, unless pre-arranged. Crocodile Camp welcomes children of all ages.
3. The MRI Emergency Services are well equipped to serve the delta area and
have the infra-structure to penetrate isolated areas if need be.
