The accommodation offered at Khwai River Lodge is camouflaged within the natural ecological environment that surrounds it. Guests will be housed in magnificent tents, which are raised on stilts, and have a gorgeous private wooden deck, ensuring a maximum of game viewing pleasure.
You’re guaranteed to not get too hot, with a great thatched roof providing shade. There are also overhead fans situated on the balcony, as well as complete air-conditioning within the tents themselves.
The rooms are all ensuite, with a comfortable four-poster bed and mosquito netting, for your convenience. And if you’re in the mood for a relaxing nightcap, you’ll be pleased to know that there are mini bars provided in all the tents. The rooms also have small electronic safes, for extra peace of mind. There are also hairdryers and electric heaters for added comfort.
The central area at Khwai River Lodge consists of a beautifully designed undercover dining room, where sumptuous meals are served whenever you may feel hungry. And after dinner, there is a lovely lounge area with a fully stocked bar, for guests to enjoy a lazy afternoon drink. There is also a large game viewing deck, overlooking the river, as well as a big heated pool with views of the hippo down below in the river.

Guests will also get the pleasure of going on game-viewing trips in open air Land Cruisers, to see some of Botswana’s most prolific wildlife, such as elephant, cheetah, leopard, lion and wild dog, to name a few. You are also sure to see a wide variety of wild fowl as well as raptors.
