Nata Lodge is situated on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Ideally located 10 kilometers from Nata village, Nata Lodge is close to the entrance of the Nata Sanctuary and is connected to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas.

Luxury Thatched Chalets
All chalets have custom designed ceiling fans and in room safes. Of the 20 chalets, 8 chalets are set on a raised platform that overlooks the old Didibakwe river and are built on the northern boundary of the lodge under the dappled shade of the Ilala Palm trees.
Of these 8 chalets there are 2 Luxury Chalets on offer. These boast majestic outdoor showers and ball and claw feature baths. 12 A-framed stoned thatch chalets are set on the southern boundary of the lodge. These unique chalets have semi open bathrooms and stoned verandas.
Custom designed safari tents
10 luxury safari tents are built on raised wooden platforms which are nestled under the lodges many Marula trees. These unique tents feature en suite bathrooms and all amenities offered in any of the lodge�s chalets.
Camp site
The campsite surroundings offer peace and tranquillity with backdrop being that of the Botswana night sky. The lodge�s campsite is able to accommodate 150 pax and the ablution area�s are stylish with semi open showers offering hot and cold water for that true African feeling. The campsite, however, does not have electricity points.
The Lodge
Nata Lodge has a swimming pool to cool down in, an a la carte restaurant and a lounge / bar area for guests to sit, relax and kick off their shoes after a long day filled with activities. There is also a curio shop on site for guests.
The lodge is surrounded by a canopy of shade trees and the bird feeding and water feature area creates opportunity for bird watchers to enjoy watching a multitude of various birds. The birds can be viewed from either the pool deck or from the bar and restaurant area. Among the different species to be seen are Yellow Hornbill, Glossy Starling and the Helmeted Guinea fowl. After sunset, it is time for nocturnal visitors to grace the guests with their presence, and the bush babies are not shy to come and see what the menu offer in terms of food for them.
Nata Lodge and the nearby Nata Sanctuary are a haven and breeding ground for water birds such as flamingo and pelicans. Watching the flamingos dance like ballerinas with their pink feathers gracefully sprayed, is a sight not to be missed. Excursions are available to Nata Sanctuary and it is a water paradise for birds, but also host species such as antelope, springbuck, foxes and monkeys. Some of the other birds to view include eagles, kingfishers, spoonbills and even ostriches. For the more adventurous there is quad biking around the lodge's grassland and plain areas. Enjoy this fun filled experience under the supervision of an experienced guide.
