Selinda Camp

Selinda Camp is situated on the banks of the eastern Selinda Spillway, and is located in the Selinda Wildlife Reserve on 300 000 acres of pristine wildlife land. The camp overlooks the waterway that joins the Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps.

Accommodation at Selinda Camp consists of:

Selinda Camp has 9 double / twin luxurious meru-styled thatched canopy tents, with en-suite facilities. The bathrooms are constructed from natural reed, and have beautiful stone baths, hot and cold running water and flush toilets. The rooms have electric lamps, and mosquito coils are lit by the staff at night. Guests have a spectacular view of the savannah with its palm islands, and vast game-rich floodplains from their tent's veranda.

Early morning breakfast, late morning brunch, and a three-course dinner is served in the raised thatched dining area. The lovely plunge pool is handy to wash away the heat of the blazing African sun. In the evening the guests can socialize and chat around the campfire. There is a small well-stocked open bar, and a curio shop next to the campfire area.

Selinda Camp's activities range from game drives, night drives with spotlights, guided walking safaris; occasional surprise bush dinners, and once a month, at full moon, guests can participate in the monthly game count. The Selinda Walking Trail is an outstanding two-day walk in the Linyanti Concession, between Tswene and Mokoba Trail camps. The experienced, keen, and enthusiastic guides will accompany the guests on the route.

Selinda Camp has an abundance of wildlife, and elephant, wild dog, cheetah and lion can be sighted by guests. Night drives create opportunity to see an enormous variety of nocturnal species. The area hosts a wealth of bird and plant life, which is more predominant at certain times of the year.

Selinda Camp offers their guests privacy, luxurious accommodation, peace and tranquility, exceptional hospitality and breath-taking views. The abundance of game and wildlife will awaken visitor's senses with excitement and anticipation and will fill them with treasurable memories.
