Accommodation at Khama Rhino Sanctuary consists of: Experience a taste of authentic Botswana at Khama Rhino Sanctuary located within 4,200 hectares of sandveld, calcrete basins, and a number of scattered smaller pans. Sleep under the stars at one of the 13 camping sites or more comfortable accommodation is available in rustic A-frame or square chalets near to the entrance of the park. Chalets accommodating 2 - 6 guests comprises of en-suite showers and toilets, basic cooking equipment and crockery and barbecue facilities. The campsites are well maintained and offer immaculate ablution blocks, barbecue facilities, and the opportunity to get closer to nature.
A marvellous restaurant, catering for the day visitor, campers and chalet guests, serves delicious traditional dishes as well as regular food items. Browse around in the charming gift / curio shop which is located in the reception area, or enjoy exiting hands-on activities at the Environmental Education Centre which is also a splendid venue for conferences.
Khama Rhino Sanctuary offers guided game and nature drives, a wonderful experience to view the free roaming animals up close, or a nature lover can explore the trails accompanied by a skilled ranger. Marvel at the collection of antelope, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, jackal, buck species, and rhino, gathering at the various pans. An abounding array of bird species will undoubtedly catch the eye of the avid birder. Nearby attractions includes a visit to Serowe Art Gallery and Thathaganyana Hill Ruins.
